What is the Meet & Greet Session?
Before taking on your dog as a client we
like to have a brief free introduction
session. This is a good chance to have
you and your dogs get to know us, see
our qualifications, and our insurance
details. We also like to know your dog’s
quirks and preferences, and complete
our client form.
How many dogs are walked at
one time?
We walk 4 dogs per person, for a
total of 8 dogs. Giving the dogs
as much opportunity for play
and fun as possible.
How is picking up and dropping off dogs
arranged?
We will pick up and drop off your dog using
our fitted and ventilated dog van. Due to
travel time and picking up the rest of the
pack, we will pick up and drop off your dog
up to 30mins before and after the allotted
time. Your dog will always receive its full walk
regardless of travel times.
Do I need to be home when you collect my dog?
No you don’t. Clients can give us spare keys so we can access the property or keys left in a safe place. We keep your keys in a locked safe with no identifying
personal information linking them to your home. Should your keys be lost or stolen, we will inform you immediately. Replacement of keys, and a lock change is
covered by our insurance. We have completed a Police Scotland criminal disclosure check which you can see during our introduction session.
How is your van fitted out and
ventilated?
Our van is fitted with secure cages and a
ventilator system, as well as a ramp for
smaller dogs. We encourage you to come
and have a look during our Meet & Greet.
Where do you walk?
We walk your dog in variety of parks,
woodland trails, and the beach, both
in and around Aberdeen. Locations
are chosen based on safety, security
and the weather conditions.
Do you walk dogs off the lead?
Yes this is our preferred way of
walking our dogs as it gives the dogs
far more exercise and enjoyment.
We do require you to sign a written
consent form beforehand. Generally
for the first few walks we will keep
your dog on a long training lead so
we can test recall and it’s response
to our commands. After we are
confident in your dogs recall we will
let your dogs off the lead on a
regular basis.
Are there any breeds of dog you won't walk?
No, We will accept any dog on the content of their character rather than a breeds reputation.
Do you take bitches in season?
Only by specific arrangement. We do not
generally walk bitches in season as we
cannot take them in our van. We can
walk your dog but only: solo, on the
lead, and in your local neighbourhood.
The owner must provide any required
protection such as doggy nappies,
sprays etc.
My Dog is aggressive or reactive. Will
you still walk him?
We will walk aggressive or reactive dogs
but only on solo walks, on the lead. The
owner must also provide a properly fitted
muzzle and complete history of past
incidents and trigger behaviour.
